Cooking Rice in a Rice Cooker
ricecooker.gifPlease always remember that the volume of water is very important. It depends on the kind of rice you are using and the period of time it has been stored. You will need more water for rice that has been kept for a long time than for new rice.

Using a rice cooker works very well, is easy, reliable and suitable for Thai jasmine rice(Hom Mali) and other long to medium-grain types. Rice cookers are generally available in Asian stores and many other specialized shops. Recommended for ROYAL UMBRELLA rice products!

Directions: (for 3 cups of rice for a family of 4)
1. After reading the instructions of your rice cooker, take out the rice basin and put 3 cups of ROYAL UMBRELLA Thai Jasmine Rice into it.
2. Rinse thoroughly (ROYAL UMBRELLA Thai Jasmine Rice only needs to be rinsed once).
3. Add 3.6 cups of water (one cup of ROYAL UMBRELLA Thai Jasmine Rice needs 1.2 cups of water).
4. Place the rice basin in the cooker and switch it on. Wait for 15-20 minutes. Do not lift the lid or stir the rice during the cooking time, as the fragrance will diminish!
5. When the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and serve it hot and fragrant alongside a variety of delicious dishes that you can eat with fluffy ROYAL UMBRELLA Thai Jasmine Rice.
